Bocci: 79 Re-Opening & 28 new colors

Berlin showroom

In November 2015, Bocci opened its first showroom and archive in a 2200sq m former courthouse in Berlin. Here, Bocci showcases their catalogue pieces, as well as prototypes and one-off ideas, by founder and creative director, Omer Arbel. These range from works in progress, to the complete catalogue of pieces developed for Bocci.

To commemorate the second anniversary, Bocci presents a comprehensive rehang of key works, creating a fresh perspective on two years of ideas, experimentation and invention.

The new presentation is comprised of four large scale installations from the 2017 collection which debuted in Milan during Salone Del Mobile earlier this year. These are accompanied by new sculptural interpretations based on existing works, presented in over 30 different spaces within the Bocci showroom.

New 28 Colours

Since its launch in 2011, the 28 series has become one of the key pieces in Bocci’s evolving catalogue of sculptural lighting designs. To coincide with the reopening of Bocci 79 in Berlin, we are introducing 25 new pendant colours to the catalogue, bringing the total number of pendant colour options to 90.

The launch of the new 28 colours comes with updated naming conventions as well as an updated web app.
